Next Rembrandt” is not a lost work by the master himself, instead it is a 3D printed painting. One “master” behind this project is Bas Korsten, who will speak at THE ARTS+ conference this October.

The portrait of a man in a black hat does indeed look like a work by Rembrandt himself. But instead of being created by the Dutch master himself, the above painting is a result of computers and data analysts that have worked 18 months to create it.

Bas Korsten, who had the idea for this project and works as Executive Creative Director at JWT Amsterdam, will speak more about this project at THE ARTS+ conference on October 19th.
