Digital Director, Institut français
Agnès graduated in 1997 with a degree in Art History from the Sorbonne and the Ecole du Louvre. She has devoted her career to working in the cultural digital sector, initially as author, script writer and scientific content manager, then as designer and project manager, before overseeing the digital strategy and the multimedia projects at the Musée du Louvre. She is now Digital Director at the Institut français, in charge of accompanying the professionals of the digital cultural sector in their international development and putting digital at the service of the cultural outreach. Prior to joining the Louvre and the Institut français, she created the websites for a number of French national museums and worked on various digital publishing projects. Fuelled by her passion for the new possibilities digital brings to culture, she has worked extensively on outreach projects for families, students and amateurs, as well as on scientific projects that exploit the full potential of new technologies.
