Co-founder & Managing Director, Lapisly
Debora Albano, together with the New Media Artist Lara Mezzapelle, is the co-founder of Lapisly, an innovative digital publishing house specialising in the creation of art appbooks for children.
After a corporate career in Digital Media at Google and Yahoo, her passion for entrepreneurial projects and cultural impact and innovation through technology brought her to co-found Lapisly with Lara Mezzapelle. Lara has always had a very keen interest in the imaginative world of childhood (she has also a background in psychology and pedagogy) and had envisioned the potential of new technologies applied to art education.
Lapisly is a digital publishing house specialising in the creation of art appbooks for children.
The award-winning interactive picture book “ExplorArt Klee – The Art of Paul Klee, for Kids” is Lapisly’s first work, which offers a magic immersive journey into the world of Paul Klee’s art: art pieces come alive for the first time, becoming enchanted animated landscapes that children can explore inspired by their own free imagination and creativity.
Animation, multimediality and interactivity are used to ehnance children’s art experience and offer innovative and engaging ways to promote cultural heritage and art education.
