Founder & Publisher, electric eclectic
Janine Sack is a publisher, art director and educator in Berlin. She is founder of the digital publishing house electric eclectic which focuses on visual culture. After working with The Green Box for two years, she founded A Book Edition, a publishing house for selected artist’s books in 2016.
As art director she conceives and designs analog and digital publications such as newspapers, magazines, books, websites and e-books and is currently responsible for the redesign of taz (die tageszeitung).

‘electric eclectic’ focuses on digital publishing in the field of visual culture and strives to explore the specific potential of digital formats for presenting, promoting and contextualising the works.
ee is a pioneer in the field and creates publications which showcase selected works of art, film, theatre, theory and visual culture in innovative ways. Unlike printed publications, digital formats can include audio and video, and networked works, and distribute them online.
