MARK MATTINGLEY-SCOTT, Quantum Computing Ambassador, IBM, Germany
Mark Mattingley-Scott, PhD, received his doctorate in communications engineering from the University of Durham. He joined IBM as an IT architect in 1989, where he has to date held various management positions in different areas. As their current Quantum Computing Ambassador he works in Business Development in New Technologies with the main focus on Business Development, University Relations and Standardization. He also specializes in Industry 4.0, Big Data and Analytics. He is a board member at Bitkom, visiting lecturer at the Institute for Cultural Anthropology and European Ethnology at Goethe University Frankfurt and former adjunct professor of philosophy at the LMU Munich and the University of Osnabrück.
His research interests include topics such as cognitive theorization, developmental psychology and media anthropology, which are reflected in his numerous publications.
