Zura Jishkariani aka Dilla was officially manufactured and distributed as a single demo version in Sukhumi. He is a writer, artist, self-proclaimed Mayor of Sukhumi and life-long refugee. In his interactive installations and performances Dilla shows how “cold algorithms” can affect people’s emotions and how humans can express their feelings using technologies.
In 2014, he created the first Georgian chat-bot “Cyber Galaktioni” and the first Georgian chat-bot-making-platform with his team within the project “Interactive Library”.
“Cyber Galaktioni” is a digital clone of the famous Georgian poet Galaktion Tabidze. Cybergala’s database was fed with information of the deceased poet’s life and work. Thus, interacting with the chat-bot created the feeling of talking to the dead poet himself. In 2016, Dilla won the “Creative Business Cup Georgia” with his project “AfterLife Design”, in which he created Interactive Tombstones, a work still in progress.
Dilla is known for his participation in the movement “LTFR” and as part of the hip hop duo “Kayakata”. His first book “Chewing Dawns, sugar free” won the Ilia State University prize for the best Georgian novel in 2017.
Currently he works on his own start up called “Anima Chatbotics”, which aims to create City Chatbots and “chatbots with souls”.
